옥천군의회는 예산군 삽교읍에 소재한 침수 피해를 입은 딸기재배 시설하우스(농가주 김모씨)를 찾아 토사 및 비닐 폐기물 제거 등의 복구 작업에 구슬땀을 흘렸다.

추복성 의장은 “최근 내린 기록적인 폭우로 예산군민들께서 큰 피해를 입은 것에 대해 깊은 안타까움을 느낀다.”며, “같은 충청권 이웃으로서 아픔을 함께 나누고 하루빨리 일상으로 복귀하실 수 있도록 돕고 싶었다.”라고 말했다.

한편 농가주는 “수해로 막막했는데 멀리서 새벽 일찍부터 찾아와 열심히 도와주신 옥천군의회 의원 및 직원 여러분께 너무나 감사하다.”며 감사의 마음을 표했다.
