【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 진천군 한국 4-H 진천군 본부(회장 조평희)는 진천군 삼수초등학교 체육관에서 ‘한국 4-H 진천군본부 한마음대회'를 개최했다고 26일 밝혔다.

  이번 한마음대회에는 진천군 4-H 회원 80여 명이 참석했으며, 4-H 선후배 간의 결속을 도모하고, 앞으로의 진천군 4-H 활동 활성화에 관한 토론을 위해 마련됐다.

  한국 4-H 진천군본부는 '지·덕·노·체'라는 이념 아래 4-H 운동을 이끌어가는 청년 농업인 육성을 위해 지속적인 후원 활동을 펼치고 있다. 

  또한, 진천군 4-H 연합회원들은 군 청년 농업인 양성을 위해 양성 교육, 공동과제포, 과제교육, 수련회 개최 등 다양한 4-H 활동을 이어오고 있다.

  조평희 회장은 “4-H 운동은 농어촌의 환경개선과 농업 생산 기반 조성에 주도적인 역할을 담당해 왔다”며 “앞으로도 지역 농업 발전의 선도 역할과 진천군 4-H 회의 활성화를 위해 다양한 프로그램을 운영해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

  김유진 군 농촌지원과 주무관은 “이번 한마음대회를 통해 진천군 농업 발전을 위한 4-H 활동의 역할을 재정립하는 의미 있는 시간이 됐다”며 “앞으로도 4-H 회원들의 소통과 화합의 장을 마련하고 진천군 농업 발전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
