 이에 따라 충청북도에서는 폭염 피해를 최소화하기 위하여 각 분야별 대응체계를 마련하고 아울러 고령자, 농업인, 축산인, 건설근로자, 야외행사 관계자에 대해 폭염 예방수칙을 준수할 수 있도록 하고 폭염 재난 상황관리를 철저히 하여 피해상황 모니터링을 통해 피해 확대를 사전에 방지하기 위하여 인명피해(온열질환자) 및 가축, 수산, 농작물 등 피해집계를 신속히 추진할 계획이다.
