【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=옥천군은 여름철 무더위 피해를 예방하고 군민 불편을 최소화하기 위해 폭염 대비 종합대책을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

지난달 30일 폭염 위기경보 단계를 ‘주의’에서 ‘경계’로 격상함에 따라 군은 즉시 폭염대응 합동T/F팀을 구성·운영하고 상황판단회의를 열어 추진사항 및 협력체계를 토의하고 대응체계를 확립했다.

폭염에 대응하는 합동 T/F팀은 총괄상황반, 건강관리지원 대책반, 농산물보호 대책반 등으로 구성되었으며 기상상황 실시간 모니터링, 피해 발생 대응, 시설·계층별 맞춤형 보호 대책관리 기능 등을 수행한다. 

군은 폭염 취약계층인 독거노인, 거동 불편자에 대한 재난도우미를 운영하며 살수차 5대와 무더위 그늘막 44개소(스마트 그늘막 15개소, 고정형 그늘막 29개소)를 주민불편 최소화를 위해 기상 상황에 맞게 운영할 계획이다.

황규철 옥천군수는 “폭염특보 시 야외작업자 등 지역주민에게 재난문자발송 및 마을 방송을 활용하여 지속적으로 폭염행동요령을 홍보·안내 할 것이며 폭염 취약계층은 안부전화 및 방문확인 등을 실시하여 세심하게 챙길 것”이라며 “모든 군민이 안전하게 여름을 보낼 수 있도록 군도 총력대응할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
