【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 4일, 새정부의 국정과제 및 정책방향을 분석하고 하반기부터 본격화될 정책변화에 선제적 대응을 위한 전문가 전략회의를 개최했다.

이날 회의에는 조길형 충주시장을 비롯한 간부 공무원과 산업‧에너지‧일자리‧문화관광‧도시개발‧농업 등 6개 분야의 전문가들이 참석해 충주시의 정책 과제와 국정과제 연계 방안에 대해 심도 있게 논의했다.

참석 전문가는 ▲한국교통대학교 권일 교수 ▲산업연구원 송우경 박사 ▲한국지역연구협동조합 김봉원 이사 ▲한국문화관광연구원 박경열 연구위원 ▲에너지경제연구원 박기현 박사 ▲건축공간연구원 여혜진 연구위원 등이다.

회의에서는 충주시의 주요 현안과 새 정부의 국정방향을 접목할 수 있는 전략적 연계 방안이 중점적으로 논의됐다.

시는 이번 회의를 통해 충주시의 주요 정책 과제가 정부 국정운영 방향에 반영될 수 있도록 실행력 있는 전략을 도출하고, 향후 국비 확보 및 정책제안의 기반 자료로 적극 활용할 방침이다.

그동안 시는 새 정부 국정과제에 반영할 주요 사업을 자체 발굴하는 한편, 충청북도와의 유기적인 협조체계를 바탕으로 정부 동향을 면밀히 살피며 적극 대응해 왔다.

조길형 충주시장은 “충주의 미래 발전을 위해 국정과제 흐름을 면밀히 분석하고, 우리 시 현안과 연계한 전략적 대응이 무엇보다 중요하다”며, “이번 회의를 통해 도출한 실현 가능한 아이디어와 과감한 제안을 시정에 적극 반영하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 정부는 7월 16일 국정기회위원회를 출범해, 8월 중순까지 국정과제 실행계획을 수립하고 새정부 5년의 청사진을 그릴 예정이다.

On the 4th, Chungju City held an expert strategy meeting to analyze the new government’s national policy tasks and policy directions and to preemptively respond to policy changes that will be implemented in earnest in the second half of the year.

The meeting focused on analyzing the new government’s policy direction and establishing strategies to reflect major pending projects such as the establishment of the Chungju Dam thermal energy special complex and the construction of a future mobility complex cluster in national tasks.

Through this meeting, the city plans to derive an executable strategy so that the city’s major policy projects can be reflected in the government’s national administration direction, and to actively utilize it as a basis for securing national funds and policy proposals in the future.

In the meantime, the city has discovered 21 projects to be reflected in the new government’s national tasks and established an organic cooperative system with Chungcheongbuk-do.

Chungju Mayor Cho Gil-hyung said, “For the future development of Chungju, it is most important to closely analyze the flow of national tasks and strategically respond in connection with our city’s current issues,” and “We will actively reflect the feasible ideas and bold proposals derived through this meeting in the city administration.”
