【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군보건소에서 처음 운영한 ‘한방쑥쑥 성장클리닉 1기’ 프로그램이 성공적으로 마무리됐다.

‘한방쑥쑥 성장클리닉’은 공중보건한의사의 성장 발달 강의, 한방진료, 체조, 음악 발달 줄넘기 등으로 구성돼 아동 개개인의 성장환경을 개선하고, 신체 성장 촉진 과 건강생활 습관 형성을 지원했다.

이번 프로그램은 성장관리가 필요한 초등학교 1~2학년 15명을 대상으로 총 8주간 진행됐다.

한의약 기반 건강 증진 프로그램을 통해 아이들의 성장을 도왔으며, 단순히 키 성장뿐만 아니라 전반적인 건강관리 능력을 향상하는 데 중점을 뒀다. 매주 건강 소식지도 배부해 가정 내 성장지원 환경 개선에도 기여했다.

구미숙 보건소장은 “성장기 아동을 위한 체계적이고 지속적인 관리가 필요하다”며 “이번 1기 운영을 통해 프로그램의 효과를 확인할 수 있었고, 학부모들의 기대에 부응했다”고 말했다.

한편 ‘한방쑥쑥 성장클리닉 2기’ 프로그램의 신청모집 첫날부터 선착순 마감이 될 정도로 호응을 얻었다. 군 보건소는 여름방학 기간에 맞춰 오는 23일부터 8월 13일까지 총 4주간 초등학교 2~4학년을 대상으로 2기 프로그램을 진행하며, 더욱 풍성한 구성과 집중적인 관리로 아동들의 성장 발달을 도울 계획이다.

The ‘Oriental Medicine Growth Clinic 1st Program’, which was first operated by Eumseong County Health Center, has been successfully completed.
