【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북경찰청(청장 김학관)은 22일 충북경찰청 본관 8층에 현장학습모임의 전용 학습 공간 ‘학이재(學而齋)’의 개장식을 개최했다.

학이재를 통해서 자율적 학습문화를 기반으로 한 실무 전문성 강화와 도민 치안만족도 제고라는 목표로 현장학습모임 활성화를 위한 본격적인 출발을 알렸다.

‘현장학습모임’은 공무원 인재개발법 제10조 및 동법시행령 제8조의3에 근거한 공무원의 실천적 지식공동체로서 자기주도적 학습을 통해 전문역량을 강화하고자 하는 모임이다.

 이 공간의 명칭은 논어 학이편의 구절 “學而時習之 不亦說乎(학이시습지 불역열호, 배우고 때때로 익히면 또한 기쁘지 아니한가)”에서 착안하여, 스스로 배우고 익히는 즐거움 속에서 반듯하게 성장하겠다는 조직적 의지를 담고 있다.

충북경찰청은 그동안 현장학습모임의 활성화를 꾸준히 추진해 왔지만, 정작 함께 배우고 토론할 수 있는 공간은 마련되지 않았던 현실을 인식하고, 전국 최초로 전용 학습공간을 조성함으로써 제도와 공간이 함께 작동하는 실질적 학습기반을 구축하게 되었다.

또한, 2025년부터 학습모임 활성화를 대폭 확대 추진하며, 기존 3개에 불과했던 학습모임을 현재 10개로 확대하여 서울경찰청청(22개)에 이어 전국 2위 규모로 성장했다.
