 이번 수상은 △음식점 위생등급제 확산 △위생등급제 홍보 △자발적인 참여 유도 △안전한 외식환경 조성 △위생적인 음식문화 정착 등 총 5개 항목의 실적을 종합적으로 평가한 결과다.

 특히 영동군은 전국 최초로 향토음식거리인 ‘상촌자연산버섯 식품 안심거리’를 조성하고, 관내 음식점에 위생등급제 참여를 적극 유도하는 한편, 시설 개선과 홍보 활동을 병행하며 위생적이고 건강한 외식문화 조성에 앞장서 높은 평가를 받았다.

 군 관계자는 “이번 수상은 외식업소 영업주들의 적극적인 참여와 노력 덕분”이라며 “다가오는 2025 영동세계국악엑스포에서도 청결하고 안전한 외식환경을 제공할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
