【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시농업기술센터는 2030 충주 미래농업 비전 전략의 하나로 ‘충주형 간편 스마트팜 실증 시범사업’을 추진한다고 9일 밝혔다.

스마트팜이란 온·습도 등 생육 환경 센서와 영상 장비 등을 제어장치로 구성하는 것으로, 스마트 환경제어 장비 등 제어시스템과 네트워크 통신 장비를 설치해 농작물 등을 원격으로 제어하고 모니터링하는 환경 조성을 말한다.

이를 통해 농업 생산성 향상은 물론 모바일 기반 운영을 통해 시간과 인력의 부담을 줄이고 농작업의 안전성과 효율성을 높일 수 있다.

충주형 간편 스마트팜 실증 시범사업은 △노동력 절감 △생산성 향상 △이상기후 대응력 강화를 목표로, 지역 실정에 맞으면서 편의성 향상 및 원격 제어 중심의 1세대 간편 스마트팜 모델을 농업 현장에 확대 적용하기 위한 시범사업이다.

개소당 1천만 원 규모로 총 2개소를 진행하며, 사업 대상은 시설원예 및 축산 농가를 우선으로 하되, 노지채소 재배 농업인도 포함된다.

신청 기간은 5월 20일까지며 읍면동 농민상담소 또는 충주시농업기술센터 교육운영팀을 방문해서 신청서를 제출하면 된다.

센터 관계자는 “이번 간편 스마트팜 실증시범사업 추진을 계기로 충주 농업의 디지털 전환 기반을 다지고, 농가 중심의 안전하고 실용적인 기술 보급을 지속해서 확대해 나가겠다”라고 밝혔다.
