【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청(교육감 윤건영)은 9일, 2025학년도에 아이성장 책임유치원을 56개원을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

아이성장 책임유치원은 언어 및 사회‧정서 발달지연 유아에게 전문 치료기관과 연계한 맞춤형 지원을 통해 전인적 성장‧발달을 도모하기 위한 사업이다.

충북교육청은 올해 3월에 아이성장 집중 관찰기간을 운영하고 자체 개발한 유아 성장‧발달 체크리스트를 활용하여 유아의 발달 상황을 파악했다.

관찰기간 중에 발달지연이 의심된 유아는 학부모와의 상담을 통해 치료 희망 여부를 확인하고 전문기관과 연계한 치료‧상담비도 최대 31만 원까지 지원한다. 

특히, 아이성장 책임유치원은 <같이성장 책놀이 프로그램>을 운영하여 책과 연계한 다양한 놀이를 통해 발달지연 유아의 온전한 성장을 지원하는데 주력하고 있다.

충북교육청은 발달지연 유아 파악 및 지원에 대한 교원의 전문성 강화를 위해 9일(금), 유치원 교원 115명을 대상으로 역량 강화 프로그램을 운영했다.

역량강화 프로그램은 발달지연 유아 선별 및 맞춤형 지원 방법 연수, 아이성장 책임유치원 운영방안 협의, 아이성장 지원단 운영 등에 관한 내용으로 이루어졌으며, 협의를 통해 발달지연 유아지원 방안을 다각적으로 모색했다.

윤건영 교육감은 “아이성장 책임유치원 운영으로 우리 아이들이 교육의 품에서 온전한 성장과 발달을 이룰 수 있도록 더욱 촘촘히 적시 지원을 하겠다.”고 말했다.
