  ‘충북 일단 살아보기’ 사업은 충북 외 지역 거주자들을 대상으로 일정 기간 도내 머물면서 생활과 관광을 함께 할 수 있는 프로그램이다. 참가자는 대표 관광지 방문, 지역 축제 참가, 농촌 생활 체험 등 다양한 활동을 통해 수행 과제를 이행하면서 충북만의 매력을 생생하게 느낄 수 있다. 또한 숙박비와 활동비, 여행자 보험 등 각종 경비를 인원 체류기간 등에 따라 최소 40만원부터 최대 120만원까지 지원받음에 따라 부담 없이 참여할 수 있다. 올해는 제천시, 보은군, 옥천군, 괴산군, 단양군 등 5개 시군에서 도비를 지원받아 추진한다.
