【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군은 성인 문해 학습자의 초등과정과 중학과정의 학력 수준을 보완하는 예비 중학반으로‘징검다리반’을 개강한다고 17일 밝혔다.

  ‘징검다리반’은 초등과정 졸업 후 중학 1단계에서 중도에 학업을 포기하는 학습자를 위해 마련됐으며, 학습자들이 가장 어려워하는 기초수학과 영어를 중심으로 운영될 예정이다.

  징검다리반의 한 학습자는 “수학과 영어 과목이 학습에 어려움이 많았는데, 징검다리반을 통해 학업을 이어갈 수 있어 기쁘다”며 “앞으로 징검다리반을 잘 이수하고 고등과정에도 도전하겠다”고 말했다.

  윤평화 군 평생학습센터 주무관은 “징검다리반 학습자분들이 배움의 열정을 이어갈 수 있도록 학습자 한 분 한 분 세심하게 신경 쓰며 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

  한편, 진천군은 사회·경제적 이유로 교육의 기회를 놓친 저학력 주민을 대상으로 학력을 취득할 수 있도록 초등·중학 학력 인정 과정, 고졸 검정고시반을 운영하고 있다.
