【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 정신건강복지센터(센터장 김태우)는 15일 복지센터 내에서 가톨릭꽃동네대학교 생명문화센터(센터장 김승주)와 함께 생명존중문화 조성을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.

  이번 협약은 지역 특성과 상황에 맞는 자살예방 대책을 마련하고 지역 자살률 감소, 생명존중문화 확산을 위해 마련됐다. 

  협약문에는 △생명존중문화 형성을 위한 교육․홍보, 봉사활동 △생명존중 관련 공동연구 △지역 정주형 인재 육성, 취․창업 지원 등 공동 협력 사항이 담겼다.

  이에 따라 양 기관은 진천 관내 자살 고위험군 특성 DB구축, 과학적 근거에 기반한 맞춤형 개입전략 수립, 자살위험성 감소, 생명존중 공동체 조성을 위한 예방, 사후관리 대책 마련을 공동으로 추진해 나갈 예정이다.

  김태우 센터장은 “이번 업무협약을 통해 체결한 각 내용을 성실히 수행해서 살기좋은 생거진천을 만드는데 이바지하도록 하겠다”고 말했다“고 말했다.
