【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도의회(의장 이양섭)는 15일 본회의장에서 청주 복대초등학교 학생 29명이 참석한 가운데 ‘제114회 충청북도의회 청소년의회교실’을 운영했다.

청소년 의회교실은 학생들이 하루 동안 도의원이 되어 본회의장에서 의장 선거, 안건 심의, 2분 자유발언 등 의정활동을 체험하는 교육 프로그램이다.

이번 제114회 청소년의회교실에 참석한 학생들은 무기명 투표를 통해 의장을 선출하고 ‘우유급식에 초코우유 도입 조례안’ ‘학교 도서관 대출 가능 권수와 기간 조정 건의안’, ‘운동장 잔디설치 건의안’ 등 6건의 안건을 심의‧의결했다.

이어, ‘심한 장난을 치지 말아야 합니다.’, ‘복도에서 뛰지 말아야 합니다.’, ‘학생들의 휴대폰 사용을 줄여야 합니다.’를 주제로 2분 자유발언 시간을 가지며, 학생들은 호기심과 설렘 가득한 모습으로 의정 활동을 온몸으로 체험했다.

행사에 참석한 박봉순 의원(청주10)은 “꿈은 삶에 의미와 가치를 부여하는 근본적인 원동력”이라며, “한계를 두지 말고 더 나은 미래를 향한 도전을 이어가길 바란다. 여러분의 꿈을 응원한다.”라고 학생들을 격려했다.
