【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 지난 15일 증평여성회관에서 2025년 여성대학 개강식을 열고 ‘제과기능사 자격취득과정’의 본격적인 시작을 알렸다.

이날 행사는 이재영 군수를 비롯한 여성대학 수강생 및 여성단체협의회 관계자 등 30여 명이 참석해 새로운 출발을 함께 응원했다.

증평군여성단체협의회(회장 박명숙)주관으로 운영되는 이번 과정은 4월부터 8월까지 총 16회기에 걸쳐 진행된다.

교육은 제과 기능사 실기 품목 20가지를 중심으로 실습과 제과 이론 특강이 병행된다.

군은 수강생들이 제과기능사 자격증을 취득할 수 있도록 체계적인 교육과 아낌없는 지원을 이어갈 예정이다.

이재영 군수는 “여성대학은 단순한 교육의 장을 넘어, 여성들이 스스로의 삶을 디자인하고 경제적 자립을 이룰 수 있는 기회의 공간이 되어야 한다”며 “앞으로도 실질적인 변화와 성장이 있는 프로그램 운영에 군이 적극 뒷받침하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 군은 여성들의 사회적 참여 확대와 능력 개발을 위해 매년 여성대학을 운영하고 있으며, 특히 지난해에는 제빵기능사 자격취득과정을 운영해 8명의 제빵기능사를 배출하는 성과를 거뒀다.
