【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 15일 충주시평생학습관에서 ‘2025. 충주 인생디자인학교’ 입학식을 열고 중장년 세대를 위한 본격적인 평생학습 과정을 시작했다.

인생디자인학교는 은퇴했거나 은퇴를 앞둔 50~60대 중장년 세대 충주시민을 대상으로 인생 2막을 대비해 은퇴자 맞춤형의 생애주기별 학습지원 사업이다.

올해 과정에는 총 55명의 시민이 참여하며 오는 8월 12일까지 총 20회에 걸쳐 진행된다.

이번 학교는 이전과 다르게 5회차의 공통 과정과 15회차의 전문과정 총 20회차로 진행된다.

특히 올해는 △건강 △연금 △인생 설계 등 중장년에 꼭 필요한 주제를 다루는 ‘공통 과정’ 5회와, △스마트폰 활용지도사 자격 과정 △미술과 함께하는 인생 2막 △시니어 보조교사 양성과정 등 심화 학습을 제공하는 ‘전문 과정’ 15회를 병행 운영해 한층 체계적이고 실질적인 교육 기회를 제공할 예정이다.

이날 입학식에서는 2024년 인생디자인학교 활동 영상 상영과 함께 사업 전반에 대한 설명이 이뤄졌다.

이어 첫 번째 공통 과정으로 김현기 여가문화연구소장이 ‘은퇴 후 슬기로운 여가생활’을 주제로 특강을 펼쳐 큰 호응을 얻었다.

충주시 관계자는 “고령화 시대에 발맞춰 중장년층을 위한 맞춤형 평생학습의 중요성이 점점 커지고 있다”며, “이번 인생디자인학교가 은퇴 후 새로운 삶의 방향을 모색하는 유익한 계기가 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.
