【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청 직속기관 특수교육원(원장 최명옥)은 15일(화)부터 18일(금)까지 나흘간 도내 통합학교 관리자 800명을 대상으로 <2025. 상반기 통합학교 관리자 연수>를 실시한다.

이번 연수는 통합학교 교장과 교감을 대상으로 총 4기로 나뉘어 대면과 비대면 방식으로 운영된다.

1기와 4기는 교육문화원과 중원교육문화원에서 집합 연수로 진행되며, 2기와 3기는 실시간 화상 연수로 진행된다.

시각장애인 예술단 <룩스빛 아트컴퍼니>의 공연 ‘시선(視線)너머’를 시작으로 장애인권법센터 대표 김예원 변호사의 <통합교육, 어떻게 지원할 것인가> 강연이 진행된다.

특수교육원은 이번 연수를 통해 학교 관리자들이 장애에 대한 이해와 공감 능력을 높이고, 장애학생의 인권 보호 및 지원 역량을 강화하는 데 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

최명옥 특수교육원장은 “통합교육의 성공적 정착은 관리자들의 인식과 실천에서 시작된다.”며, “교(원)장뿐 아니라 교(원)감까지 참여 대상을 확대하여 운영하는 이번 연수가 통합교육 현장에 실질적인 변화를 가져오는 중요한 계기가 되길 바란다.”고 말했다.
