【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양군립도서관이 올해 군민이 함께 책을 읽고 소통하는 ‘단양군민, 함께 한 책 읽기 운동’을 전개한다.

이 캠페인은 연령별로 선정된 책을 군민이 함께 읽으며 공감과 소통을 나누는 독서문화 확산 프로젝트로, 지난 15일부터 지역 내 기관·단체의 릴레이 독서를 통해 본격 시작됐다.

특히 이번 릴레이에는 단양군가족센터장과 단양장애인복지관장을 비롯한 다양한 지역 기관·단체장이 첫 주자로 참여해, 지역사회 전반에 독서 참여 분위기를 확산시키고 있다.

올해의 책으로는 어린이 분야에 임민지 작가의 ‘상냥한 거리’, 청소년 분야에 정정희 작가의 ‘댓글 달기 전에 생각해 봤어?’, 일반 분야에 김지윤 작가의 ‘연남동 빙굴빙굴 빨래방’이 각각 선정됐다.

‘연남동 빙굴빙굴 빨래방’은 관계 속 따뜻한 소통의 중요성을 일깨우는 이야기이며, ‘상냥한 거리’는 일상 속 작은 친절의 힘을, ‘댓글 달기 전에 생각해 봤어?’는 청소년의 올바른 언어 사용과 공감 능력의 필요성을 담고 있다.

선정 도서는 올누림도서관과 매포도서관, 단양교육도서관 등에서 자유롭게 열람할 수 있으며 향후 작가와의 만남과 도서 전시, 독서 체험 행사 등도 함께 운영될 예정이다.

신명희 올누림도서관 관장은 “단양군민이 한 권의 책을 함께 읽으며 생각을 나누고 서로 공감함으로써 더욱 성숙한 지역 공동체로 나아가는 계기가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.

Danyang County Library is launching the ‘Danyang County Citizens, Reading Together Campaign’ this year, where citizens read books together and communicate.

This campaign is a project to spread a reading culture by reading books selected by age group together and sharing empathy and communication. It began in earnest on the 15th through relay reading by local organizations and groups.

In particular, various local organizations and group heads, including the Danyang County Family Center Director and the Danyang Disabled Welfare Center Director, participated as the first runners in this relay, spreading the reading participation atmosphere throughout the local community.
