【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=영동교육지원청(교육장 태영환)은 14일, 글로벌 현장체험학습에 참여하는 영동산업과학고 학생 및 교직원 41명을 대상으로 오전 6시 30분 영동군수 (정영철)와 함께 출국길을 배웅했다.

이번 현장체험학습은 일본 오사카와 교토를 중심으로 3박 4일간 진행되며, 현지 문화 체험뿐만 아니라 동지사 대학교 내 정지용·윤동주 시비 참배, 그리고 임진왜란과 정유재란 당시 희생된 조상들의 넋을 기리는 ‘귀무덤(耳塚)’ 참배 등을 통해 역사의식을 함양하는 교육적 시간을 가질 예정이다.

특히 올해는 영동군민장학회에서 학생 1인당 100만 원, 충청북도교육청에서 총액 35만 원을 지원함으로써 학생들의 경제적 부담을 최소화하는 데 큰 도움이 되었다.

이번 프로그램은 학생과 학부모의 의견을 충분히 반영하여 교육적 효과를 극대화할 수 있도록 구성되었으며, 사전 컨설팅 및 사후 평가를 통해 체계적이고 안전하게 운영될 계획이다.
