 이번 대회는 지난 12일부터 13일까지 2일간 제천시 신동테니스장에서 열렸으며, 도내 11개 시군에서 많은 선수와 관계자가 참가해 열띤 경쟁을 펼쳤다. 

 충청북도체육회 주최, 충청북도테니스협회, 제천시테니스협회 주관, 제천시와 제천시 체육회 후원하에 진행된 이번 대회는 생활체육 활성화와 테니스 동호인의 화합을 도모하는 뜻깊은 자리였다.

 특히, 올해 대회는 지역 테니스 동호인들의 수준 높은 기량이 돋보였으며, 선수들은 땀과 열정으로 그동안 갈고닦은 기량을 유감없이 발휘했다. 대회 현장에는 많은 가족과 시민들이 함께해 응원의 열기를 더했다.

 대회 결과, 종합우승은 청주시 A가 차지했으며, 준우승은 제천시 A, 3위는 충주시, 진천군에게 돌아갔다.

 충청북도테니스협회 관계자는 “생활체육을 통해 도민들이 건강을 지키고 화합할 수 있는 장을 마련하게 되어 매우 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 도내 생활체육 발전을 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

 안성국 제천시체육회장은 “생활체육은 지역 주민들의 건강 증진과 소통의 장으로서 매우 중요한 역할을 한다”며, “앞으로도 생활체육 활성화를 위해 지속적인 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 전했다.
