이번 축제는 수양홍도화의 아름다움을 만끽할 수 있는 다채로운 행사들로 축제장을 채울 예정이다.

주요 행사로는 면민 장기자랑과 마을 노래자랑이 열려 주민들이 자신의 끼와 재능을 마음껏 발휘할 수 있게 되었으며 방문객들은 마을 곳곳에 만개한 수양홍도화를 감상하며 자연의 아름다움을 만끽할 수 있을 것이다.

특히, 이번 노래자랑은 청주KBS의 인기 프로그램 ‘무대를 빌려드립니다’와 연계해 이병철의 출장가요 공연이 진행되어 더욱 풍성한 볼거리를 선사한다.

김연철 축제위원장은 “이번 축제는 주민들이 스스로 기획하고 준비한 행사라 더욱 의미가 깊다”며“지역 주민과 방문객들이 함께 어울리며 따뜻한 정을 나누고 봄의 정취를 즐기는 소중한 시간이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
