【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 오는 4월 11일부터 13일까지 수안보 물탕공원 일원에서 개최하는 제41회 수안보온천제를 전국적인 산불 피해 애도를 위해 축소 운영한다.

수안보온천제는 수안보온천의 우수한 수질과 전통을 널리 알리고 관광객 유치를 위해 매년 열리는 대표 지역축제로, 올해는 ‘추억의 수안보’를 주제로 다양한 체험 행사를 선보인다.

다만, 시는 최근 영남 지역에서 발생한 대형 산불 피해를 고려해 개막식 등 공식 행사를 간소화하고 불꽃놀이와 길놀이 행사를 취소하는 등 차분한 분위기 속에서 축제를 진행할 방침이다.

행사 중에는 산불 희생자를 애도하는 시간이 별도 진행된다.

온천제 주요 프로그램은 황혼의 부부 5쌍이 참여하는 전통 혼례 ‘리마인드 웨딩’, 교복을 입고 학창 시절을 체험하는 ‘추억의 수학여행’ ‘전통의상 대여’와 ‘추억의 사진전’ 등이 준비되어 있다.
