【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=지난 5일부터 6일까지 이틀간 청산체육공원과 생선국수 특화거리 일대에서 개최된 청산생선국수축제가 성황리에 종료되었다.

생선국수 축제는 대표적인 향토 음식 생선국수를 중심으로 열리는 청산면의 대표 먹거리 축제로 매년 다채로운 프로그램과 함께 진행된다.

올해는 기존의 부스 운영 방식에서 벗어나 여러 식당이 참여하는 거리 축제 형식으로 진행돼 방문객들에게 신선한 경험을 선사했다. 행사장에서는 즉석 노래자랑, 트랙터 꽃마차 체험, 농기계 전시 등 온 가족이 즐길 수 있는 체험 프로그램이 풍성하게 제공되었다.

특히 옥천군 청산청소년문화의집 소속 청소년운영위원회가 운영한 △어~락(樂) 풍경 만들기 부스가 많은 이들로부터 호평을 받았다.

청산청소년문화의집 청소년위원회는 지역 내 청소년들이 모인 위원회로 2023년부터 생선국수축제에 참여하여 다양한 체험 부스들을 운영해 왔다.

한편, 축제의 대미를 장식할 예정이었던 불꽃놀이는 최근 산불 경보가 심각 단계로 격상됨에 따라 안전을 고려해 취소됐다.

최은식 청산면민협의회장은 “축제동안 맑고 깨끗한 보청천을 배경으로 청산의 특별한 먹거리를 맛보며 방문객들이 행복한 시간을 보내셨길 바란다”고 말했다.

이번 축제를 통해 청산 생선국수는 지역을 대표하는 음식으로서의 입지를 더욱 공고히 했으며 내년에도 풍성한 프로그램으로 관광객들을 맞이할 계획이다.
