【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군농업기술센터는 볍씨로부터 전염되는 키다리병, 도열병, 벼잎선충, 세균성벼알마름병 등을 방제하기 위해 온탕소독기 무상 이용 사업을 추진한다고 25일 밝혔다. 

볍씨 온탕 소독은 60℃의 물에 마른 볍씨를 약 10분간 소독 후 건져 찬물에 10분간 식힌 후 침종하는 것으로, 소독 조건만 제대로 지킨다면 방제 효과가 90%에 달한다.

온탕 소독 시 주의할 점은 반드시 마른 종자를 60℃에 10분간 침지 후 곧바로 냉수 처리해야 한다. 젖은 종자를 사용하거나 적정 온도와 시간을 유지하지 않으면 발아율이 급격히 떨어진다.

소독 기간은 3월 25일부터 5월 16일까지 운영할 계획이다.

소독 희망 농가는 원하는 날을 농업기술센터 본소에 전화(043-871-2331~4)로 사전 예약한 후 종자를 10kg씩 망사주머니에 포장해 가져와 소독하면 된다.

운영 장소는 농업기술센터 본소 친환경종합분석센터 옆 ICT하우스 1동이다.
