【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=제천시보건소는 질병관리청이 주관하는 ‘제15회 결핵예방의 날’에 충북에서는 유일하게 질병관리청장 기관상을 받았다고 24일 전했다.

 제천시보건소는 2023년‘충청북도 결핵관리사업 성과대회 장려상’, 2024년 ‘충청북도 결핵관리사업 성과대회 우수상’에 이어 3년 연속 기관상을 받는 성과를 이루었다. 

 지난 3년간 보건소는 찾아가는 결핵 검진사업’ 수검률 100% 이상 달성, 돌봄시설 취약계층 잠복결핵감염검진 100% 이상 목표 달성했다. 

 또한, 결핵환자와 밀접 접촉한 자들에 대해 결핵 검진 누락방지를 위해 1:1 밀착관리를 실시하는 등 결핵 및 잠복결핵 확산을 방지하는 데 최선을 다했으며, 가족 접촉자 및 결핵역학조사접촉자 잠복결핵감염 검진율, 치료시작률 및 치료완료율 등 치료 전 분야에 걸쳐 100% 성과를 달성하여 결핵 예방·관리를 위해 노력해왔다.

 제천시보건소 관계자는 “보건소가 최일선에서 보이지 않게 꾸준히 노력을 다한 결과 우수한 성적을 받을 수 있었다”며 “제천시민분들의 협조와 많은 관심으로 좋은 결과를 얻을 수 있었고 앞으로도 결핵으로부터 안전한 제천시 만들기에 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
