【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군립도서관은 관내에 주소를 둔 18개월 이하의 영유아를 대상으로 2025년 아기와 함께하는 책사랑 운동, 북스타트 프로그램의 하나로 ‘생애 첫 책 꾸러미’를 배부한다고 24일 밝혔다.

  북스타트는 북스타트코리아와 지방정부가 함께하는 사회적 육아 지원 운동으로 태어나는 모든 아기가 평등한 문화적 기회를 누릴 수 있도록 그림책 꾸러미를 선물하는 프로그램이다. 

  군은 아기와 부모의 풍요로운 유대관계 형성과 유아 시기부터 책과 친숙해지는 올바른 독서 습관 형성을 위해 해당 사업을 적극 추진하고 있다.

  책 꾸러미는 그림책 2권, 스케치북, 아기양말, 북스타트 가방과 가이드북 등으로 구성된다.

  신청 시 보호자 신분증과 해당 영유아의 주민등록등본(주소확인)을 지참해야 하며 도서관 3개소(진천군립, 광혜원, 혁신도시)와 각 읍·면 행정복지센터, 혁신도시출장소에서 수령하면 된다.

  정태호 군 평생학습센터 주무관은 “어려서부터 책과 친해질 수 있도록 준비한 ‘책 꾸러미’와 다양한 프로그램이 아기와 부모에게 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “출생신고 시 신청하면 편리하니 적극 활용해 달라”고 말했다.

  한편, 5월부터 북스타트 후속 프로그램으로 도서관 산책, 그림책 놀이, 엄마 아빠와 함께하는 놀이 체험이 운영될 예정이며, 오픈데이, 부모교육 등으로 다채롭게 운영될 예정이다.
