‘사람은 언젠가 꽃이 핀다’를 주제로 강연을 펼친 신길수 명사는 단양군민의 자긍심과 자존감 향상, 행복지수를 높이는 방법, 긍정 마인드를 통한 자존감 키우기 전략 등을 강조했다. 

그는 강연을 통해 긍정 에너지를 전달하며 군민들과 따뜻한 소통의 시간을 가졌다.

신길수 명사는 경제학 박사로 청주대학교 경제학과 교수로 재직했으며, 현재는 문화평론가이자 언론칼럼리스트로 활동 중이다. 

또 단양군 정책자문단 위원으로서 군의 주요 정책 방향을 제시하고, 긍정적인 변화를 이끌어 가는 데 기여하고 있다.

김문근 단양군수는 “이번 명사초청 강의가 단양군민의 자존감을 높이는 뜻깊은 시간이 되었기를 바라며, 앞으로도 다양한 분야의 명사 초청 강연을 통해 군민들이 힐링하고 성장할 수 있는 기회를 꾸준히 마련하겠다”고 말했다.
