【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=지난 2월부터 활동을 시작한 충주시의회 의원연구회가 본격적인 정책개발 연구에 돌입하기에 앞서 3월 11일, 용역과제 심의위원회를 열었다.

심의위원회는 국립한국교통대학교에서 도시·교통공학 교수로 역임하고 있는 오주택 위원장을 비롯한 7명의 전문 민간위원으로 구성되어 있으며, 연구용역의 필요성과 적절성, 과업 내용 및 연구방법의 타당성, 연구용역비 산정의 적정성, 연구결과의 활용 가능성 등을 종합적으로 심사했다.

이번에 심의·의결된 연구용역은 3월 말 계약을 체결해 4월부터 착수에 들어갈 예정이며, 9월 30일까지 예정된 집중연구 기간 동안 의원들의 정책개발 및 의정활동에 다방면으로 활용될 예정이다.

아울러 김낙우 의장은 인사말을 통해 "이번 심의위원회에서 논의된 사항들이 실질적인 정책으로 이어져 시민들에게 도움이 되길 바란다"라고 전했다.

The Chungju City Council Members’ Research Group, which began its activities in February, held a service task deliberation committee on March 11 before starting full-scale policy development research.
