【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북경찰청(청장 김학관)은, 3·1절을 맞아 도내 주요 이륜차 폭주행위 발생 예상지점에 교통 경력을 대거 투입하여 강력 단속을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

오는 3·1절, SNS 등 정보공유를 통한 폭주행위가 우려됨에 따라 교통경찰, 교통순찰대와 교통범죄수사팀 및 기동순찰대 등 경찰력을 집중 배치하여 청주 도심을 비롯한 도내 전역의 폭주 예상지점에서 집결 자체를 원천 차단한 후 법규위반 행위에 대한 집중적인 단속을 추진할 예정이다. 공동위험행위 및 난폭 운전 등 폭주행위 발생시 현장 채증 후 사후 수사를 거쳐 반드시 검거한다는 방침이다

한편, 폭주(공동위험) 행위는 2명 이상이 자동차 등을 앞뒤, 좌우로 줄지어 통행하면서 다른 사람에게 위해를 끼치거나 교통상의 위험을 발생시키는 행위로 2년 이하의 징역 또는 500만원 이하 벌금에 처해질 수 있다.
