【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=보은군농업인단체협의회는 14일 농업기술센터 대회의실에서 제11대·제12대 보은군농업인단체협의회 회장 이·취임 행사를 개최했다.

이날 행사에는 최재형 보은군수, 보은군의회 최부림 의장을 비롯해 기관단체장 및 농업인단체 회원 70여 명이 참석한 가운데 이·취임식, 격려사, 축사, 기념 촬영 순으로 진행됐다.

이태수 신임 회장은 어려운 이웃을 위해 사용해 달라며 150만원 상당의 쌀 500kg(10kg, 50포)을 군에 기탁하며 의미를 더했다. 

이임하는 이형석 회장은 “임기 동안 적극적으로 도와주신 각 단체회장님들께 감사드리고, 이태수 신임 회장님을 중심으로 단합하고 발전하는 농업인단체가 되었으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.

이태수 신임 회장은 취임사를 통해 “역대 회장님들이 만들어 놓은 업적을 이어받아 농업인의 권익 신장과 지역농업 발전을 위해 노력하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.

최재형 보은군수는 “그동안 농업인 단체를 이끌어오신 이형석 회장님께 깊은 감사를 드린다”며 “이태수 신임 회장님이 이끌 농업인 단체가 앞으로도 지역사회 리더로서 농업·농촌 발전을 위해 큰 역할을 해주시길 희망한다”고 말했다.
