【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북도는 4일 도민의 생명과 재산을 보호하기 위한 2025년 재해예방 사업으로 도내 재해 취약지구 155여 개소를 체계적으로 정비할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

 도는 풍수해 생활권 종합정비사업(17지구, 662억 원), 자연재해위험개선지구(44지구, 810억 원), 급경사지 붕괴위험지역(35지구, 235억 원), 재해위험저수지(3지구, 12억 원) 정비사업, 스마트 계측관리시스템(25지구, 18억 원) 등 5개 분야 124개 지구 1,737억 원으로 중점적으로 정비할 예정이다.

 특히, 지방하천 정비사업으로 도내 21개 지구에 796억 원을 투입해 집중호우로 인한 제방 유실과 농경지 침수를 방지하고, 노후 하천 10개소에 대해서도 소방안전교부세 13억 원을 투입하여 하천 준설 및 수목 제거, 하천 시설물 보수 등 재해예방 사업을 추진할 계획이다. 이는 최근 증가하는 기후변화로 인한 수해 예방에 초점을 맞춘 조치다.
