【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=청주시의회 보건환경위원회 박완희 의원은 4일 청주시의회 중회의실에서 「청주시 생활임금 조례」제정을 위한 간담회를 개최했다.

  이번 간담회는 노동자의 최소한의 인간다운 삶을 보장하여 교육ㆍ문화ㆍ주거 등 각 분야에서의 실질적인 삶의 질 향상에 기여하는 것을 목적으로 하는 생활임금 조례 도입을 모색하기 위해 마련되었다. 

  최경천 전 충청북도의원과 이항기 한국노총 충북공무직노조위원장, 선지현 비정규직없는충북만들기운동본부 공동대표, 김순자 민주노총충북본부 미조직비정규사업국장 등 노동자 단체 대표, 관련 전문가와 청주시 소관부서 공무원이 참석해 의견을 나눴다. 

  참석자들은 타 지자체의 현황과 생활임금 조례 도입 현황과 운영사례를 살펴보고, 청주시의 생활임금 적용 대상과 규모 등 제반 사항을 검토하고 실행 방안을 논의했다. 

 박완희 의원은 “생활임금 도입은 노동자의 권익 보호와 삶의 질 향상을 위해 중요하다”며, “이번 간담회를 통해 다양한 의견을 수렴하고, 실효성 있는 조례안을 마련하여 발의할 예정이다”라고 말했다.
