군은 2024년 한 해 동안 195건의 사업을 대상으로 계약심사를 운영해 총 6억 1068만 원의 예산을 절감하는 성과를 거뒀다고 밝혔다.

계약심사란 군에서 사업을 발주하기 전 공사･용역･물품구매 등의 사업에 대해 계약 체결 전 원가산정, 설계변경 등의 적정성을 심사･검토해 합리적 원가심사를 실시하여 예산절감과 시공품질향상 도모 및 부실공사 방지를 위한 제도다.

군은 △추정금액 3억 원 이상의 종합공사 △추정금액 2억 원 이상의 전문공사 △추정금액 7천만 원 이상의 용역 △추정금액 2천만 원 이상의 물품구입 계약에 대해 원가심사를 실시했으며, 계약금액 5억 원 이상 공사의 1회 설계변경 시 계약금액이 10% 이상 증가하는 경우에는 설계변경심사를 실시하고 있다.

군 관계자는 “올해도 신속하고 정확한 계약심사를 통해 발주부서의 신속집행을 지원하며, 적극적인 계약심사로 재정운영의 효율성을 높이겠다”라며 “절감된 예산이 지역경제 활성화와 공공이익 창출을 위한 사업에 재투자될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
