【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 활기차고 건강한 노후 생활을 지원하기 위해 올해 161억원의 예산을 들여 4215개의 일자리를 만들기로 했다고 10일 밝혔다. 

이는 지난해 일자리 3991개 대비 5.6%, 전년도 예산액 153억보다 5.2% 증가한 규모다.

노인일자리는 △노인공익활동사업 △노인역량활용사업 △공동체사업단 △취업알선형 △음성형노인일자리 사업 등 5개 분야로 나눠 추진한다. 

특히 음성형 노인일자리 사업은 정부주도 노인일자리 사업에 참여하지 못하는 일자리 사각지대에 놓인 어르신을 대상으로 사회참여 기회를 제공하기 위해 실시하는 사업이다.

지난해 군은 한국노인인력개발원 선도모델 사업비를 지원받아 음성군 취약계층의 주거복지를 위한 세탁방 ‘이음샘터’ 운영, 주거환경개선사업, 현수막 재활용 사업 등을 추진해 120개의 일자리를 발굴했다. 

‘노인공익활동사업’은 취약계층 지원 및 지역 사회 공익 증진 활동을 위해 추진한다. 65세 이상 기초연금 수급자가 참여할 수 있으며, 노노케어, 공공복지시설 등에서 월 30시간 활동 시 29만 원의 활동비를 지급한다.

‘노인역량활용사업’은 숙련된 기술, 전문성 및 경험 등을 활용해 지역 사회에 이바지하기 위한 것으로, 65세 이상(일부 유형 60세 이상 참여가능)의 어르신이 참여 가능하다. 보육시설 업무 보조, 공공전문서비스 등의 업무로 월 60시간 근로하면 월 60만 원가량의 활동비를 받게 된다. 

‘공동체사업단’은 노인에 의한 상품의 생산·판매 서비스의 제공 등을 목적으로 인건비 일부를 보충 지원하고, 사업수익으로 연중 운영하는 일자리로, 60세 이상의 사업 특성 적합자라면 누구나 신청 가능하다. 

군은 올해도 노인 일자리사업의 체계화 및 전문성과 안정성 확보를 위해 지역 수행기관 2곳(음성시니어클럽, 대한노인회 음성군지회)에 전담 인력 30명을 투입해 운영할 방침이다. 

조병옥 군수는 “100세 시대를 맞아 음성에 거주하는 어르신들의 지속적인 사회참여와 경제적 부담을 해소하기 위해 노인 일자리 분야 지원을 아끼지 않을 것”이라며 많은 참여를 당부했다.
