【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 괴산군(군수 송인헌)은 군 김치산업 활성화와 전통식문화 리더를 양성하기 위한 ‘김치제조사 교육’을 9일 농업기술센터에서 첫 시작했다고 밝혔다.

김치제조사 교육은 김치 제조 방법을 표준화하고 채소 종류별 김치 제조 이론과 실무능력을 체계적으로 익혀 농가 소득증진에 기여할 목적으로 올해부터 새롭게 실시됐다.

이번 교육은 군 마을김장추진위원회 소득농가 등 18명을 대상으로 9일부터 오는 23일까지 총 6회에 걸쳐 진행될 예정이며, 교육생들은 김치 역사와 문화, 식품위생과 김치제조 표준매뉴얼에 대해서 학습하고 다양한 김치 만들기(토마토 김치 외 8종)를 직접 실습하여 ‘김치제조사’ 민간자격시험에 응시·자격을 부여받게 된다.

군 관계자는 “이번 교육이 김치표준 레시피 보급과 더불어 김치제조사 자격증 획득을 통해 김장체험 농가의 전문성 확보까지 이어질 수 있는 좋은 기회가 됐으면 한다”고 말했다.

한편 괴산군은 2023년에도 김장체험농가 육성 및 김장레시피 균일화를 위해 마을김장추진위원회 13개 농가를 대상으로 ‘괴산군 맞춤형 김치 표준 레시피’ 연구 및 교육을 진행했다.
