【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도 괴산증평교육지원청(교육장 손희순)은 관내 학교 겨울방학 및 졸업식 기간(1.8.~1.9.)을 맞아 안전한 겨울방학 생활과 건전한 졸업식 문화 정착을 위해  괴산증평교육지원청 담당자 및 관내 학생생활지도 교사, 괴산경찰서, 보건소 등과 협력하여 합동 교외생활교육을 실시했다.

8일에는 괴산지역 학교 주변 및 시외버스터미널, 시장 등 괴산 일대를 점검하였고, 9일에는 증평지역 학교 주변 및 송산지구, 터미널 등 증평 일대를 순회했다.

이번 합동 교외생활교육은 겨울방학 시작과 졸업식 시기를 맞이해 학생들의 일탈 행위를 예방하기 위하여 관내 주요 유흥지역을 순회하며 교육을 실시했다.

학생들의 일탈 행위가 높은 다중이용시설을 파악하여 살펴보고, 관내 우범지역(학생 흡연장소 등) 및 도박 및 사행성 조장 게임 제공업소의 청소년 출입 근절을 위한 활동을 펼쳤다. 또한, 최근 청소년들의 이용이 증가하고 있는 개인형 이동장치(전동킥보드)의 안전한 사용을 위한 캠페인 활동도 함께 전개했다.

손희순 교육장은 "관내 학교 졸업식 시기 동안 유관기관과 함께하는 합동 교외생활교육을 통해 학생들의 안전하고 건전한 졸업식을 위해 노력할 것"이라며 "겨울방학 동안 학생들이 즐겁게 생활할 수 있도록 적극적인 협조가 필요하다"라고 당부했다.
