【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=보은군은 행정안전부가 주관한 정보공개 종합평가에서 지난해에 이어 2년 연속 최우수 등급을 받았다고 밝혔다. 

이번 평가는 △사전정보공표 △원문정보공개 △정보공개 청구 처리 △고객관리 △제도운영 등 5개 분야 11개 지표에 대해 정량·정성 평가를 실시했다.

보은군은 사전정보공표 및 정보공개 청구 처리 분야에서 높은 평가를 받으며 평균 95.01점을 획득해 최우수 등급을 받았으며 이는 전년 90.64점 대비 4.37점 상승한 수치이다.

이번 성과는 보은군이 그동안 정부 공유 확대와 군민의 알권리를 보장하기 위해 적극적인 정보공개와 군민과의 소통을 강화하는 등 지속적인 노력의 결실로 평가된다.

군은 2022년부터 전 부서 정보공개 접수처를 통해 군청 실과소와 읍면 행정복지센터 어디서나 군민의 관점에서 접수 및 접수 담당자를 한 눈에 알고 정보공개를 신청할 수 있도록 운영해 컴퓨터에 익숙하지 않은 분들도 손쉽게 정보공개 청구를 할 수 있도록 운영하고 있다.

최재형 보은군수는 “이번 최우수 등급은 공직자 모두가 군민의 알권리 보장을 위해 꾸준히 노력해 온 결과”라며 “앞으로도 군정 정보를 투명하게 공개해 군민과 지속적으로 소통하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 정보공개 종합평가는 행정안전부에서 매년 중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 550여개 기관을 대상으로 정보공개 운영 전반을 점검하는 제도로 2019년부터 매년 시행되고 있다.
