【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 지난해 충청북도 광역공모사업으로 참여한 지역산업맞춤형 일자리사업 식품산업 이중구조 개선사업 분야 고용노동부 평가에서 ‘A’등급으로 우수한 성과를 거뒀다고 8일 밝혔다. 

식품산업 이중구조 개선사업은 식품산업 분야 대기업과 협력사 간 임금, 복지, 환경 등의 이중구조 문제를 개선하기 위한 일자리지원 사업이다.

군은 컨소시엄을 구성해 상생 협약체결과 함께 고용장려금, 워라밸지원, 휴게시설공간조성, 작업환경개선 사업을 병행 추진했으며, 그 결과 식품기업 총 32개사와 근로자 149명이 471백만원의 혜택을 받는 쾌거를 이뤘다. 

또한 2023년 일자리대상 평가에서 대상 수상 상사업비 7천만원을 받아 도내 최초 ‘2024년도 음성 뿌리산업 채용장려금 지원사업’을 추진했다.

이 사업은 제조업의 근간인 뿌리기업의 인력난 해소를 위해 신규인력 채용 시 기업에 20만원씩 6개월 최대 120만원을 지원하는 것으로, 군은 총 23개 기업 51명 채용해 목표(12개업 40명) 대비 127%의 성과를 거뒀다.

아울러 군은 도내 최초로 충북에너지산학융합원과 함께 한국형 퀵스타트 프로그램 일자리 사업을 추진해 청년 28명이 관내 반도체기업 취업에 성공하는 등 사업 목표 20명 대비 140% 초과 달성했다.

이와 함께 군은 음성읍, 금왕읍, 대소면, 맹동면, 충북혁신도시 등 주요 거점지역에서 찾아가는 미니 채용 박람회 3회 개최, 구인구직 만남의 날 12회 운영 등 충청북도 공모로 ‘찾아가는 고용서비스 지원사업’을 추진해 일자리창출 노력을 인정받았다.

조병옥 군수는 “내수경기 침체, 지방소멸의 위기를 극복하기 위해 맞춤형 신성장산업 육성과 투자유치 기반 조성 등을 통해 일자리가 넘쳐나는 지역경제 선순환 구조를 실현할 것”이라며 “지역 특성에 맞는 양질의 일자리 창출을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 군은 지난해 8월 발표한 2024년 상반기 고용조사에서 지역활동 인구 11만 8000명으로 군 단위 전국 1위를 기록했고, OECD기준 15세 이상 64세 이하 고용률 77.9%로 도내 1위를 달성했다. 또한 기초지자체 일자리대상 공시제 부문 고용노동부 평가에서 우수기관으로 4년 연속 수상한 바 있다.
