【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=보은군은 원예분야 농업인의 경쟁력 제고 및 농가 소득증대를 지원하기 위해 다양한 정책을 펼친다고 8일 밝혔다.

먼저, 군은 고품질 원예작물 생산과 생산기반 확충을 통한 농가소득 증대 및 농업경쟁력 향상을 위해 37억원을 투입해 원예분야 지원사업을 추진한다. 

대상 사업은 △시설원예 스마트 생산 기반 지원사업, △고추 비가림 재배시설 지원사업, △농산물 포장재 제작 지원사업, △고품질 과수생산 지원사업, △고품질 고추 생산 지원사업, △고품질 배추 생산 지원사업, △인산재배 지원사업 등 20개 사업이다.

사업 신청을 희망하는 농업인은 오는 31일까지 농지소재지 읍·면 행정복지센터 산업팀에 신청하면 된다.

아울러 군은 민선 8기 공약사업에 발맞춰 자재가 상승 등 제반여건을 고려해 보조금을 현행화한다. 

군은 보은군 및 주변 지역 업체를 대상으로 농업 자재에 대한 실거래가를 조사해 보조사업 사업단가를 현실적으로 조정할 계획이다. 단, 국도비 지원사업은 제외된다.

또한, 최근 폭염 등 이상기후로 인해 원예농가 노지작물 재배에 어려움을 겪는 현실을 대비해 노지 스마트팜 시설 보급 및 기후변화 대응시설 보급에도 적극적으로 대응할 방침이다.

특히, 농림축산식품부의 스마트농업 육성지구 공모에 적극적으로 참여해 이를 바탕으로 장기 임대형 스마트팜, 스마트 APC, 민간기업 유치를 통한 대규모 스마트팜을 조성해 농작물 품질향상 및 생산량 증대, 청년인구 유입 등 농업 소득이 향상될 수 있도록 농업 다변화를 추진할 계획이다.
