군은 올해 대상포진 무료 접종대상자를 60세 이상 군민으로 확대해 예방접종을 실시하고 있다. 올해 집중 접종대상자는 옥천군에 1년 이상 주민등록을 두고 거주하고 있는 60~63세 중 과거 대상포진 예방접종 이력이 없는 군민(3,033명)이다.
