도서관 1층 로비에 가족, 친구들과 함께 연말의 추억을 담을 수 있는 크리스마스 포토존을 상시 운영한다.

이와 함께 12월 2~31일, 크리스마스 카드에 소원을 적어 직접 도서관의 트리를 장식할 수 있는 ‘크리스마스 소원 트리 만들기(내손내트-내 손으로 내가 만든 트리)’ 행사를 진행한다.

또한 12월 중 영유아와 어린이를 위한 겨울방학 독서문화프로그램과 성인을 위한 크리스마스 책갈피 만들기 등 다채로운 원데이클래스를 운영할 예정이다. 

곽명영 행복교육과장은 “군민들이 한 해를 마무리하며 도서관에서도 행복한 연말 분위기를 느끼도록 다양한 볼거리와 즐길 거리를 제공할 계획”이라며 “옥천군민도서관에서 새해 소원을 적어 보며 희망찬 2025년을 준비하시길 바란다”고 말했다.
