【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=매포읍은 자매결연을 맺은 경주시 월성동 주민자치위원회(위원장 안재철)에서 방문했다고 3일 밝혔다.

이번 방문은 올해 6월 경주에서 매포읍과 월성동이 자매결연을 맺은 이래 두 번째 만남이다.

이날 참석자들은 도담삼봉과 만천하스카이워크, 장회나루 등 관광지를 둘러보며 서로의 우의를 다졌다.

안재철 위원장은 “다음 방문에는 마늘의 고장인 단양의 마늘 수확 시기에 농가 일손 돕기를 추진하는 등 지속적인 교류를 추진하고 싶다”고 말했다.

김기학 매포읍 주민자치위원회 위원장은 “지속적인 교류로 우의를 다지고 문화관광지인 두 지역의 특성을 살려 상생 발전을 도모하자”고 전했다.
