【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 문화체육관광부가 주관하는 2025년 생활체육시설 확충 지원 사업(시니어친화형 분야) 공모에 ‘음성 시니어친화형 국민체육센터 건립사업’이 최종 선정돼 국비 30억원, 도비 10.15억원을 확보했다고 4일 밝혔다.

음성 시니어친화형 국민체육센터는 어르신 맞춤 체육활동 지원으로 건강을 증진하고 건강관리 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 시설이다.

음성체육관과 연계해 건립 예정으로 접근성이 좋아 군민들이 편리하게 이용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

공모사업 선정으로 군은 총사업비 59억원(국비 30억, 지방비 29억)을 투입해 연면적 1200㎡, 지상 3층 규모로 시니어친화형 국민체육센터를 건립할 예정이며, 2025년 착공해 2026년 완공을 목표로 건축설계용역을 추진하고 있다.

시설 구성으로는 GX룸, 스크린파크골프연습장, 건강측정 및 운동처방실, 인지케어실 등으로 다양한 노년층을 위한 체육시설들이 들어설 예정이다.
