수원시 테니스단은 전 국가대표 감독이자 2022년 아시안게임 여자 복식 금메달 및 단체전 동메달을 수상한 최영자 감독과 전 국가대표인 김나리 선수 등이 소속돼 있다.

이번 프로그램은 이형준 회장(군 자치행정과장)의 아이디어로 동호회원들의 테니스 실력향상과 다른 단체와의 우호적 교류를 위해 마련됐다.

이날 행사는 저녁 식사와 더불어 단양테니스장에서의 재능기부 행사, 단양 여행 필수 코스인 단양강잔도 산책까지 이뤄졌다.

이형준 회장은 “이번 행사를 통해 동호회원들이 실력향상뿐만 아니라 수원시 테니스단과의 우호적인 교류를 다질 수 있는 기회가 됐다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 교류 활동을 통해 동호회의 발전과 지역 스포츠 활성화에 기여할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
