【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=제31회 증평 인삼골축제가 오는 3일 보강천미루나무숲 일원에서 화려한 막을 올린다.

증평 인삼골축제는 지역의 대표 농특산품인 인삼과 홍삼포크의 우수성을 널리 알리기 위해 매년 실시되는 증평의 대표 축제다.

올해는 ‘달려라 젊음, 즐겨라 증평’을 주제로 지난해에 이어 청바지에 흰티를 드레스코드로 정해 21살의 젊은 증평의 이미지를 다시한번 강조한다.

이를 통해 젊고 활기찬 증평의 도시 이미지를 부각하고, 지역주민과 관광객들이 자유롭고 즐거운 분위기 속에서 축제를 만끽할 수 있도록 기획했다.

축제의 킬러콘텐츠인 인맥파티(인삼+맥주)도 인삼골 찐(JEANS) 인맥파티를 테마로 DJ 라라, GG 등 다양한 뮤지션들이 참여해 특별한 시간을 선사한다. 

증평 K-pop 국제청소년페스티벌에서는 전 세계 청소년들이 참여해 K-pop 공연으로 젊음과 열정이 어우러지는 무대를 펼친다.

특히 올해는 개막식도 간소화한다.

내빈소개, 인사말씀 등은 영상으로 대체하고 스물한 살 청년이 무대에 직접 올라 증평인삼골 축제를 소개하는 등 기존과는 다른 참신한 방식으로 진행된다.

이재영 군수는 “올해 축제는 특별히 관객 중심의 프로그램으로 준비했다”며, “21살 증평과 함께 젊고 트렌디한 축제를 즐기러 많은 분들이 와주시길 바란다”고 말했다.
