【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북경찰청(청장 정상진)은, 8.15 광복절을 맞아 도내 주요 이륜차 폭주행위 발생 예상 지점에 교통경력을 집중 배치하여 강력 단속을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

앞서 충북경찰청은 3·1절과 5·18 등 주요 국경일에 존재감을 과시하려는 젊은 층의 폭주행위에 대해 강력한 단속활동을 추진하여 사전 차단하여 왔다.

지난 6. 9일과 6. 14일 돌발적으로 발생된 폭주행위에 대하여 흥덕경찰서 자체 수사 전담팀을 편성, 추적수사를 통해 9명의 피의자 전원을 검거하였으며 공동위험행위 및 자동차관리법 위반 혐의로 8월 중 송치 예정이다.  

오는 광복절, SNS 등 정보공유를 통한 폭주행위가 우려됨에 따라 교통경찰, 교통순찰대와 교통범죄수사팀, 기동순찰대 등 경찰력을 대거 투입하여 청주 도심을 비롯한 도내 전역의 폭주 예상지점에서 집결 자체를 원천 차단한 후 법규위반 행위에 대한 집중적인 단속을 추진할 예정이다. 또한 공동위험행위 및 난폭 운전 등 폭주행위 발생시 현장 채증 후 사후 수사를 거쳐 반드시 검거한다는 방침이다
