【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=덕산읍 행정복지센터(읍장 강상훈 이하 센터)는 복지 사각지대 해소와 불볕더위 대비를 위한 무더위 쉼터 확인 등 지역 내 45여 개의 경로당을 대상으로 찾아가는 복지 상담의 날을 운영하고 있다고 9일 밝혔다. 

  이번 일정은 지난 1일 덕산읍장으로 취임한 강상훈 읍장이 앞장서 7월 한 달간 계속된다. 

  센터는 무더위로부터 주민들이 안전하고 편안한 생활을 할 수 있게 고위험 복지 사각지대 관리, 생거진천 안부 확인 등 복지서비스를 위한 무더위 쉼터의 운영 상황을 점검하고 경로당의 안전 점검도 함께 진행한다.

  또한 어르신 만성질환인 혈압과 당뇨 등 건강 상담을 하고 건강관리 방법과 위기 사유 발생 시 긴급복지 지원 등 다양한 복지서비스를 안내하고 복지대상자 발굴 시 안내 가능한 홍보 부착물도 배부할 예정이다.

  강 읍장은 “어르신들이 더운 여름 건강하고 안전한 생활을 할 수 있도록 주민들의 작은 소리에도 귀를 기울이도록 하겠다”라고 말했다.
