【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시립도서관은 미래의 유권자인 초등학생들에게 선거 과정과 올바른 대표자를 뽑는 방법을 알리기 위해 여름방학 동안 여름 독서교실을 운영한다.

이번 여름 독서교실은 2024년 7월 30일부터 8월 2일까지 4일간 시립도서관 구관 제1강의실에서 초등학교 3~4학년 어린이 10명을 모집해 운영될 예정이다.

또한 독서교실은 오전 10시부터 12시까지 운영할 예정이고 참가비는 무료이며 재료비는 총 5,000원이다.

이번 여름 독서교실은 <시민과 시장>을 비롯 <대통령>, <선거>, <투표> 등을 주제로 하며, △수탉과 독재자 △사랑받는 대통령 △동물들의 우당탕탕 첫 선거 △나도 투표했어 등 4개 강좌가 준비되어 있다.

4일 간의 수업을 성실하게 수료한 학생 중 우수 학생 1명에게는 국립어린이청소년도서관장상을 주어진다.

충주시립도서관의 여름 독서교실 신청기간은 7월 10일부터 7월 24일까지이며, 도서관 홈페이지를 통해 접수하면 된다.

This summer reading class will be run for four days from July 30 to August 2, 2024, recruiting 10 children in the 3rd and 4th grades of elementary school in Classroom 1 of the old building of the city library.
