【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북도는 3일 여는마당에서 신한은행 충북동부본부와 ‘다자녀 가정 주거환경 개선사업’을 위한 성금 지정기탁식을 개최했다.

  기탁식에는 김영환 충북도지사를 비롯해 한병기 신한은행 충북동부본부 본부장, 장성윤 신한은행 충북영업부금융센터 지점장, 이민성 충북사회복지공동모금회장 등이 참석했다.

 이번 행사는 민선 8기 출생아 수 증가율 전국 1위 성과를 바탕으로, ‘출생아 1만 명’ 달성을 목표로 한 충북도의 다자녀 가정 지원 의지와 민간 금융기관의 사회공헌이 결합되어 마련됐다.

 신한은행 충북동부본부가 기탁한 1,500만 원은 충북사회복지공동모금회로 지정 기탁되어 도내 주거 취약 다자녀 가정의 보금자리를 수리하는 데 사용된다.

 본 사업은 충북도와 충북사회복지공동모금회, 충북개발공사, 주거복지사회적협동조합 등이 협력하여 추진하는 민관 협력형 저출생 대응 주거복지 사업이다. 

 도는 오는 3월 20일까지 각 시군을 통해 주거환경 개선이 시급한 대상 가구 집중 발굴에 나선다.  

 올해는 지원 가구 수를 5가구에서 10가구 내외로 확대해 추진하며,  지원 대상은 도내 3자녀 이상 다자녀 가구 중 중위소득 100% 이내 가구다.

 주요 지원 내용은 ▲단열 및 방수, 창호 교체 등 에너지 효율 개선 ▲주방·화장실 등 노후 시설 정비 ▲누전 및 화재 예방을 위한 안전 보강 등 아이들의 건강과 안전에 직결되는 분야다.

 충북도는 3월 20일까지 발굴된 가구를 대상으로 시공 전문가가 참여하는 합동 현장 실사를 거쳐 지원 대상을 최종 확정하며, 연말까지 공사 완료 및 사후관리 전 과정을 꼼꼼히 챙길 방침이다.

 김영환 지사는 “아이 키우기 좋은 환경을 만드는 것이 저출생 극복의 출발점”이라며 “앞으로도 도정의 모든 중심에 아이를 두고 다자녀 지원 정책을 더욱 촘촘하게 강화해 나갈 것”이라고 밝혔다.

 한편, 충북도는 올해부터 다자녀 지원을 한층 강화해 다태아 가구에 소득 기준 없이 영아당 월 10만 원의 분유비를 지원한다.

 4자녀 이상 가정에는 연 100만 원, 5자녀 이상 가정에는 자녀 1인당 연 100만 원을 지급하는 등 다자녀 양육에 지원 공백이 없도록 정책을 추진할 계획이다.
