보은읍 강산리가 고향인 한상현 교육장은 학림초와 보은중, 운호고를 거쳐 충북대학교 과학교육과를 졸업하고, 충북대학교대학원에서 화학교육 석사 학위를 취득했다. 

1990년 봉양중에서 첫 교직생활을 시작으로 매포중, 충북고 등에서 근무하였고, 보은여고, 서원중에서 교감으로 충북교육에 열정을 쏟았으며, 청산고, 금천고, 가경중 교장을 거쳐, 2026년 3월 1일자 제34대 보은교육지원청교육장으로 취임했다.
